Hip-Hop Reacts To U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team World Cup Win

Last night, in a dominant performance against the women’s soccer team of Japan, the ladies of the U.S. National Soccer team beat the Japanese collective 5-2 in the World Cup finals, becoming the first team in history to become three-time winners of the elite soccer tournament. While America watched Carlie Lloyd and the rest of the U.S. squad command the game from the very start, so did the hip-hop community, as many rappers and radio personalities took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the game and spectacular play of the American ladies, who won their first World Cup in 16 years. With that said, we highlight some of the best comments from the hip-hop community seen on Twitter last night on the U.S. Women’s World Cup title win.
